How to order your custom-made vestments
All of my stoles are custom made to the customer’s specifications. Depending on the workload the turnaround time may be 3 weeks to 6 weeks or more. Church conferences happen in clusters and May and June are busy months. I do try to accommodate emergency orders, but I cannot guarantee my work capacity.
Because the specifics of each order matter, I will contact you before I give you a final price. That conversation can start with an email, or by filling and submitting the form that’s below. Start by clicking on the item type that you are interested in, and an additional screen will appear specific to that item.
A deposit of 50% is due before I start work on your stole, and the remaining is due prior to shipping. Currently you may pay by check, venmo, or paypal and I can email or text the directions.

About me
After 25 years of sewing I made my first custom stole in 1995 to celebrate my brother’s call to ministry. You will see many photos of George on the Happy Preachers tab. Soon he talked me into making them to sell. The business grew into a passion for serving churches and pastors. I began going to church conferences and other venues as a vendor and met so many fascinating people. In the past 30 years I have celebrated with pastors all around the US and even have some stoles in Europe!
When I began, this tiny business fit in the corner of the dining room and was squeezed between raising our two boys and working a part-time job. When I went back to work full-time the sewing time had to take a back seat. But now I am retired and excited to build my business and to take online orders. I really look forward to returning to conferences as a vendor.
I live in Kansas with my husband on a small piece of land, not too far from our son and his wife and their two fabulous children. My business sewing time may just compete with grandchildren time!
